Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2004 I have been entering pupils for exams and concerts and leading workshops for over 17 years, both at a local school and national level. I am a big advocate of encouraging the students to create their own music, and to engage in as many performance opportunities as possible. If you want to take graded drum examinations I teach the Trinity rock and pop syllabus, with many of my students currently working towards their Grade 7 examinations.
I believe that teaching should be fun and exciting, and I try to really work out what makes my students tick, so that I can get the absolute maximum out of them and also give them the maximum from myself.

Experience and Qualifications
I have performed across the world as a session musician, from Australia to Uruguay, including shows at festivals such as Glastonbury and Bestival and recording sessions at Abbey Road studios. Artists I have performed with include Florence and the Machine and The Irrepressibles.
